The Man In Genesis
For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote about Me. But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?”
John 5:46 – 47 NKJV
The intent of early chapters of the book of Genesis is not to tell us a creation account of the world. Moses while writing about creation was testifying about Christ using various figures. What we see in those chapters is Moses using the story of the first Adam to reveal and tell about the Second and Last Adam, Christ. The First Adam is a type (a representation) of the Last Adam (see Romans 5:14). Indeed Moses wrote about Christ in Genesis.
There’s a lot to learn and unlearn even as you listen to this teaching. There is so much clarity to be gotten. As you Listen over and over again, your convictions in Christ would be strengthened even as you would appreciate all the more the finished work of Christ.
