The Bible shows us that the believer is not in any way helpless in times of temptation. He can resist the devil steadfast in the faith standing on the word of God and he will flee. The believer must discern from the word of God when to “flee” and when to stand and resist devil and cause him to “flee”. The devil is no match moment the believer puts the word in his mouth and weaponize the word of God in times of temptation, he will always come out victorious.
